Hello Beautiful Second Life!

I find it so romantic longing for an impossible love. The stronger the longing, the more tragic

and painful, the deeper the love and desperation. Yes, I am crazy like that, and no, it is not like

I am longing for a mystery man. I already have all I need, want, and long for in my Steppenwolf.

It is simply a matter of stirring the pot until it boils and letting it overflow like boiling milk

and creating a hot mess all over and then... Never mind, really what a mess! Is it really worth it?

I say definitely not. When you already have something good like true love with an amazing

significant other, having a few twisted thoughts and keeping firey secrets every now and then

can only be good if you are planning on writing a romance novel... Hey, that actually sounds

pretty good to me and sometimes I DO need the inspiration. :P

Babyyyy, don't get mad, it was just a joke! Come back babyyyy!

So today on the first day of Spring, I have a group of beautiful people for you to meet.

But before we continue, I would like to thank Mr. biggle who while I was at Pemberley (Moderate),

really surprised me when he so kindly gifted me the above picture he took of me and titled it

The first person featured was selected from the group of pictures because of how beautiful she looked

11 Years 5 Months in Second Life.

There's not really much information I could find about our new friend ʚƬɞ::taki::ʚ'-'ɞ other

that she is Japanese and is partnered to  ʚℜɞ::梨花::ʚ'-'ɞ (rinka2014no22).

Such a beautiful sweet couple. What caught my attention to ʚƬɞ::taki::ʚ'-'ɞ during my visit to the

Sakura Matsuri Festival (Moderate) was how beautiful she looked in her Kimono. I have a list

COMMENTARY

I remembered the day when my eyes were as blue as the heavenly sky

and my hair like a delicious silky mocha ran down so long.

That is how Lori Novo was born to Second Life almost 14 years ago.

With time, physical changes occasionally happen but really nothing major.

An occasional change of eye color, or hair, would occur depending on something

I had to blog for one of my sponsors, but I was back to my old self as soon as I was done.

The only one thing I have never changed since day one is my AO. I plan to keep the

same AO til my last day in Second Life.

Skinny Love

I believe our AOs represent in a big way our personalities.

One has to feel 100%  comfortable with how our bodies are being portrayed by the AO

that we are wearing. The movements have to represent how we want to be perceived.

I could never see myself wearing an AO that is sexy because I don't consider myself

sexy at all so it would be like walking in shoes that are not my size, either too small

or too big, so walking would be very uncomfortable for me to do. But more than anything, my

AO is like my signature in Second Life, just like my perfume is in real life.

Everyone knows my moves just like everyone recognizes my scent in real life even before they

even see me.

There's one thing that I always had a hard time changing unless I had to

and that is changing my hair into blonde. For some unknown reason, I never felt comfortable

wearing blonde hair, it never felt like me. I would easily choose any other shade, including green

or purple, just not blonde. Don't get me wrong, I do like blonde hair very much just not on me.

However tonight, I decided to give it another try since I recently wore it a couple of times for

the blog and, to be honest with you, I think I am starting to like it now. ;)

But no matter what, brown, red, black,  green, purple, or blonde, the beauty of Second Life is that we can

change our hair as many times as we want to, cut it, curl it, and grow it back, all in the same day.

So as you can tell, this is the kind of nonsense I write about when I need to distract my mind

from upsetting things. I rather direct my mind in writing about whatever, than stay stuck

in negative feelings and thoughts. Life goes on, and so we should move on too.

Hello Beautiful Second Life!

I come to you today from a very special place that holds some very beautiful memories of moments

spent there. Moments when I felt infinite joy. But as we all know sometimes those things that once

brought us so much happiness tend to turn painful and their memories become nostalgic.

I do continue returning to this place from time to time to revisit the memories made there.

However, they are bitter-sweet and I usually find myself back and forth between the smiles and the tears.

Welcome, this is Pemberley (Moderate)!

Those memories continue to dance like butterflies among the white flowers and greet me

each time they see me. "Hello Lori, welcome back. We are still here, always waiting for you,

no matter the time." It was in this place that I first heard music by Dave Matthews while

friendly fingers played the guitar for me.

Now, it is always quiet and lonely as I explore the beautiful land. I want to say that I enjoy the 

solitude of this place, but not really. I long to see the familiar face and listen to the music of

Dave Matthews, accompanied by a good friend and a guitar. Nostalgia brings regret, wishing

I could go back in time and do things so differently, take a different journey, and start all over again.

But while life is sweet, sometimes it can be so unfair and cruel, and there are no second chances.

And with that, the only thing left to do is to continue the journey carrying the memories 

we made, even if they hurt, and now make us cry.
