Second life is truly a beautiful and exciting place to visit.
However, for newcomers, it can be a dangerous place and like most of us,
they will find that not everything is as it seems.
Sometimes it can be better, but unfortunately, very often it is not.
What better song to describe this side of Second Life
then Welcome To The Jungle by Guns N' Roses
(1987 Appetite For Destruction album).

Liars, Deceivers, and Players,
or whatever you want to call them, these nasty creatures roam this land in packs
hungry for their next victim. Usually, they target newbies/newcomers/fresh meat,
but no one is really safe from these predators if you let your guard down.
Their goal:
To see for how long they can play you and in how many pieces they can break your heart
once you fall into their web, weaved by sweet talks, lies, and false promises.
These players,
as I prefer to call them, come in the form of man or woman, or both because
in Second Life you can be a f*cking door if you want to. So you really don't
know who's hiding behind the smile.
This is their game, and you will be their new toy.
It will last as long as they decide, usually until they get bored or they get a new "better" toy,
Or until you wise up and learn to see through their lies and false promises.
Once trapped in their game, the measure of pain that you can get to experience
can be unbearable. They will find some sick pleasure in seeing you suffer.
But do not retreat, simply enter with caution and keep your eyes wide open.
Most times, these people can be detected on the spot. Exaggerated charm can very much be a red flag.
Enjoy the game and guard your heart.
And NO, this is NOT a post about me, I am no predator and definitely not the prey :P
