Hello, is anyone out there?! Oh yes, there you are.... muah! Got to forgive me please but I've been feeling under the weather for a few days now and running a high fever :( Gosh, I hate it so much when I get sick, it completely slows me down in all of my plans of the long list of things that I need to accomplish for each day. I need to be moving, make things happen, feel productive and oh well, all I have managed to do is crawl out of my bed for a couple of hours to then crawl back under my blankets and sleep the day away. What a waste of time. Precious minutes just thrown away! My friends insisted that I need to rest and not worry too much, to stop thinking about everything 'til I get better. OMG, how I wish I could do that... but for now, can't do sorry :P The good thing is that I still remember this week's SECRET WEDNESDAY deal and my pick are this great Chaos Ripped Jeans (Mesh) from CHAOS MAINSTORE. How about his trademark hat that he's been wearing since back in 1985 when touring with Guns and Roses? That has to be one of my faves in my SL hat collection and was created by Willy Wiskee.

That is what I keep getting asked since the day I put this outfit together.
My reply to them is always the same, "Oh how I wish I was."
Ocean, however, believes that I am; he calls me his "sweet angel" and every time he does,
it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Actually, this outfit wasn't something well planned but more like something
in the spare of the moment. Ocean and I were going to Tempura and I needed something fast
to change into and the white dress was the first thing I found.
The hair however I was already wearing for a post I had been working on.
But the wings were something I added later on while we were at Tai Chi when
I saw my good friend Forbidden wearing his beautiful black wings.
My love for wings started the very first time I saw Aedo Destiny, Tempura's Italian angel.
From that moment on I started collecting different types and wearing them often,
especially when I see someone wearing wings.
Aedo has been and always will be Tempura's angel, the first one anyway.
However, now I am starting to be recognized as Tempura's angel as well.
People seem to now mention Lori Novo as the angel who loves Tai Chi. This is a great honor for me.
I don't know if it's well deserved, but it fills me with an immense love
that makes me want to do good and do better for every person that I meet.
MK (Monkeyking2011) however refers to me as The Melancholy Angel of Tempura,
which is the title of a post he wrote about me in his Depraved Monkey Blog.

Meet Etrad Alex from Florida, USA.
The way I found Etrad was very unusual. He was actually on the ground
when I arrived at the Tai Chi circle last night. He was just there, very still in the middle of everything
and everyone, so obviously I asked if he was OK. He then disappeared but not before I was able to open
his profile. I did notice before he left, that his Avatar looked amazing and after reading his profile, I was
very pleased with what I read on his 1st Life section;

After a few minutes, Etrad returned to the Tai Chi circle and I was able to take his photo and have a
little chat with him and I was able to see how friendly and easy-going he is. In his real life, he has
worked with youth groups which is a big plus in my book. One thing that I liked very much about him
was his modesty. Something very rare to find in Second Life.

Words That Hurt
Words That Hurt
What brings more joy to the heart than to bring happiness to others.
I always say that if I can make at least one person smile in the day, my day has been wonderful.
However, it is so easy to hurt people in a blink of an eye. All it takes is a simple wrong word or a
sentence. Many times what we say to people or about them not only hurts them
but the people that love them as well.
Why use this beautiful gift God gave us as a tool to hurt or insult or humiliate others?
What gratification do we really get from it? None, we should be ashamed of ourselves for this.
It requires the same effort to give a kind word, to be respectful and compassionate than to
belittle another human being.
This post I am writing is for my own doing, for a minute there and without thinking much,
my words made another person feel bad. There are no excuses and this shouldn't be acceptable.
My intentions in life have always been to bring a smile, courage, and inspiration to others.
I have always preached that if we have nothing nice to say about another person,
it is best to say nothing at all. Then why did I so quickly forget there what I stand for?
One of my first posts talks about what I stand for and that is to use my words
as God intends me to do.
We should never let our pride get in the way from stopping to admit what we have done wrong
and especially to apologize for doing so. It brings peace to the heart when we can sincerely say...
"I am very sorry".
Mr. Ethernium Mystic, I would like to again apologize to you, but this time here in my blog,
where it was here that my words were not proper to such a gentleman like you.
You have all my respect and gratitude for such a lovely IM that opened my eyes and made me realize
that for a minute there I was going on the wrong path with my words.
And I just hope that one day I get to see your wings fully rezzed since I know they will be
as beautiful as the human being that is wearing them.
